Cut Off

What do two single, creative friends do when they’re tired of their families pestering them about their relationship statuses? They laugh about it. And then they make a film about it!

My longtime friend Sofie Rimler and I thought of the idea for Cut Off in 2022. In 2023, we were still thinking about it, so we knew we had to make it ourselves. I wrote the script and co-produced the film alongside an amazing crew, which you can learn more about on our IMDB page.

Cut Off has screened in 10+ festivals nationwide and won the Audience Award for Best Short Film at the Miami Jewish Film Festival 2025.
